SHANNON-CASSUL-LOVER

Hi! My name is Lauren. My DevianrtArt is called SHANNON-CASSUL-LOVER because I love the character Shannon Cassul voiced in the english dub by Crispin Freeman from one of my favourite anime series "Scrapped Princess". A very overlooked, brilliant anime in my opinion.

2020 UPDATE: In hindsight I'm unsure if how I spelled his name in my username is the correct way of spelling it. But it's been my DeviantArt name since 2012 spelled this way; so too bad, not changing the spelling now.

I'm a proud Risembool Ranger! Vic Mignogna is a very inspirational person in my life. The photo above is from my first ever convention Supanova Melbourne 2013. I went and met Vic and I gave him a copy of my favourite original character drawing at the time with a short note of support to him written on the back.

My favourite anime of all time is School Rumble.

I collect dolls. I do not the know the exact number of dolls that I own, even if I did, not telling. Why is that the first thing everyone asks doll collectors? Do people not understand the expression "Quality, not quantity"? I post pictures of my dolls and believe me there's heaps I have so many different styles of dolls. My personal favourite kind of dolls is classic Bratz.

I have a massive folder with all the character art of my OC's from my original fantasy universe. After many years of development I finally have a title. The title is "The Dellassia Chronicles" Referring to the kingdom in which it is set and the Royal family name of the main characters. I post character art with bits and pieces of information explaining the scenarios or the character in art description. However I do not post long form chapters of their stories because I have posted some before and received harsh comments and felt very exposed sharing my writing after that. I could change my mind someday and post chapters but in the mean time, I feel it's better for my mental health my precious stories are kept safe from judgement.
